Our Team Members
Lorraine joined our front office team in August of 2004. She brings with her over 20 years of dental experience, ranging from chairside dental assisting to office management. Lorraine is happily married to her husband, Joe. They share wonderful twins named Joey and Melanie. As a family, they enjoy vacationing, swimming, bowling and watching movies. They also love the company of their dog, Chip, and their cat, Sparky. In her spare time, Lorraine takes pleasure in bike riding, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kimberly has been working as a front office administrator in the dental field for over seven years. In addition, she has ten years of experience in the travel industry and in customer service. Kimberly and her husband, Jack, have one daughter named Abby and an Old English Sheepdog named Winnie. Kimberly’s hobbies are scrap booking, shopping and spending time with her family.
Cheryl graduated from Prairie State College in 1992 and has been practicing as a dental hygienist for over 17 years. She proudly joined our team in June of 2004. Cheryl is blessed with three beautiful girls: Allison, Mallory and Lindsay. Cheryl loves being a Mom, treasures her family and friends and spends her spare time reading and working out.
Leah became a member of our staff in the summer of 2004. She received her bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and her Master of Arts in Education from St. Xavier. After having her two children, she has been working part-time administratively, while on extended leave from teaching second grade. Leah currently lives in Tinley Park with her wonderful husband, Larry; their son, Collin; and their daughter, Ashley. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, scrap booking and watching movies.
Sylvia is originally from Northwest Indiana, but has been living in Tinley Park since 2003. She received her associate’s degree from Indiana University Northwest and has many years of dental experience. She loves spending time with her husband, Shawn, and their two children. Whenever Sylvia has free time, you’ll find her out shopping!
Michele joined our staff in July of 2006. She was a personal assistant for many years in the insurance industry. She has over two years of experience in a general and cosmetic dental office. Michele is married to Carl and has two wonderful children, who are away at school. Since they are new empty-nesters, they enjoy quiet time together and planning trips to visit their children.
Aimee has lived in Shorewood for many years. She attended the Dental Assisting Training School in Orlando, Florida, where she became a certified dental assistant. Aimee is involved with her church, attending group functions and volunteering as often as possible. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her niece, Giada; hanging out with friends; and working out.
Jackie joined our team in July of 2007. She graduated from Prairie State College, where she received her degree and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. Jackie is from Orland Park, Illinois. In her spare time, she likes to go shopping with her mother and sisters. Jackie also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Brendan, and especially all of her cute little nieces and nephews.
Laura graduated from Prairie State College and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2004. She joined Dr. Steve’s team in April of 2007. Laura has been married to her high school sweetheart, Dave, for several years. They have three beautiful children: Kristen, Lindsey and David. They have lived in New Lenox since 1989. Laura likes to make jewelry, crochet and read in her spare time.
Kim joined Dr. Steve’s team in May of 2008, bringing with her several years of experience as an office and administrative assistant, which included working for a large general dental practice. She has two beautiful children, AJ and Brooke, and two very lovable golden retrievers. Kim is an avid animal lover and also enjoys walking, reading, scrapbooking, card making and spending time with family and friends.
Holly joined our staff in May 2008. She currently resides in Homewood-Flossmor. She attended University of Chicago, where she received her certificate for coronal polishing and sealants. Holly has been in the dentistry field for nearly three years now. She enjoys playing softball, kickboxing, and playing with her two adorable dogs: Wrigley and Stoli.
Beth is from Joliet, Illinois. She was home-schooled through high school then attended the National University of Health and Sciences, where she received her certificate in Limited Radiological Technology. She joined our team in March of 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at her church and spending time with her family and friends.
Criselda is originally from Corpus Christ, Texas, and moved here to Illinois at the age of 15. Criselda is a dental assistant certified in radiographs and sealants. She has been in the dental field for 15 years and loves changing smiles and helping people feel comfortable during their dental treatment. When she is not working, much of her time is spent with her husband Mario. Together, they are having fun learning to maintain their new home. Criselda has one son, Marlon, who loves baseball and spending time with his friends. In her spare time, Criselda enjoys reading, dancing, working out, cooking and, of course, shopping!
David attended Michigan State University the first two years of his college career. He is now a third-year biology major at the University of Illinois, Chicago. David’s goal is to attend dental school with aspirations of becoming a pediatric dentist. He developed a passion for soccer and has played since he was 5 years old. Through the years, David mastered the sport and now plays for the University of Illinois. In his spare time, he enjoys “hanging out” with friends and treasures his time with his family.
Janine, who joined our practice in January of 2010, is a financial coordinator and often the first smiling face to greet you when entering the office. Janine earned her associate's degree in Child Development in 2005 and has worked as a pre-school teacher since 2003. She loves working with children and wanted to further her career. Working here in our office has afforded her the best of both worlds. Janine enjoys coaching her daughter’s cheerleading squad, working out and spending time with her boyfriend, Kurt, and his four children. Like we said before, she loves children!
Nina was born and raised in Orland Park, Illinois. She attended Eastern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration in 2006. After graduation, Nina continued to pursue her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Prairie State College in May of 2009. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Nina strives to contribute to the overall well-being of her patients' general health by educating her patients about their oral health and providing them with the tools they need to achieve and maintain healthy lifelong smiles.
